"I want friend like me"

This beautiful figure is on her way to me, I got a wonderful deal on Ebay for her. Such a good deal I'm almost nervous the seller will back out.

I'm on the hunt for Frankenstein's Monster now, which is her companion piece of course. I've found him online for a pretty good deal but I need to save my pennies.

Remote Viewing: Save Dollhouse PSA2

Pendant Giveaway - The Mad Hatter

`Your hair wants cutting,' said the Hatter. He had been looking at Alice for some time with great curiosity, and this was his first speech.

`You should learn not to make personal remarks,' Alice said with some severity; `it's very rude.'

The Hatter opened his eyes very wide on hearing this; but all he SAID was, `Why is a raven like a writing-desk?'

My Alice in Wonderland pendants have always been one of the most popular items in my shop so I thought I would offer one in a giveaway.

Please take a look around my store and just comment here what item you like or items you'd like to see. Please be sure and leave a way for me to contact you thru email or your entry will be disqualified. The giveaway ends May the 9th.

Thank you for visiting!

Grrr Argh

Taking some pics of a my collectibles for inventory sake, and this one of Bugs Mummy I liked so much I just wanted to share.

I hope to be able to invest soon in some display cabinets from Ikea so I can have a proper place for them to live.

In his full glory

Yes I am a 17yr old geeky boy at heart.

And just a beautiful sculpt of Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I'm continually awed at the talents of the sculptors at Sideshow Collectibles.

Cat Training

Yes get your giggles out, because really, cat training?

I now refer to my life with cats as BEFORE or AFTER Gomez. Before Gomez my adorable little pets were much like me, they enjoyed eating, laying about and watching television. Ah but then I had the means and opportunity to get a breed I had been interested in for years. A Bengal.

What is a Bengal you may ask? Their lineage comes from the pairing of an Asian Leopard and a tabby. Bengals classified as pets are at least 4 generations removed from their wild heritage, frankly I am thinking I need one that is at least 678 times removed.

Gomez is intelligent, curious, athletic with endless amounts of energy. He studies things and sizes them up, you can watch the wheels turning. If he wants something he will take it, as demonstrated by the time he decided he would like my bowl of cereal, which led to milk and Frosted Flakes everywhere. With precise regularity there is something crashing in my home, while this would startle others I now respond with "GOMEZ STOP WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING".

So I know now I have to approach raising Gomez as I would a puppy, lots of stimulation and training. I've started clicker training and he is a whiz at standing up to get a treat. What you say? A cat standing up? GET OUT. I know. But I did try this with my fat orange tabby Sidney who just looked at me disgustedly when I asked him to stand up for a treat and walked away.

Now it's time for harness training. He was just old enough this month to get his rabies shot and he is properly protected against heartworms. There is a huge tree in the backyard that I can't wait to introduce him to. I think he would enjoy the outdoors and burn off some of that Bengal energy. The issue? Oh my lord the harness. He completely flips the fuck out when I put it on him.

Mind you I've given up on a collar because he is like Houdini and can get out of those in 4.8 seconds, but the harness is a little more complicated for the him to figure out. He was successful in getting one leg out, which I promptly shoved back in. So I'm sitting here watching him flip around as if he's having a seizure, gnawing on any area of the harness he can reach. Watching him trying to walk or run only looks like I've gotten my cat drunk. Did I tell you this was the second harness I bought? I have quite the collection of harnesses and collars if anyone is in need of one.

I plan to get some video of this exorcism he is trying to perform with the harness, but for now

Get it off, get it off, get it OFF

See how fetching you look?

I hate you

Still time for Spike

James Marsters, who played the vampire Spike on TV's Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, told SCI FI Wire that a spinoff centering on his character is still a possibility, but the aging actor needs to be sure that lighting and makeup can still make him look like the eternally young vampire.

"Oh, yeah, when Angel was coming down, [creator] Joss [Whedon] came to me and said, 'Do you want to do a Spike project?'" Marsters said in an exclusive interview on Monday in Beverly Hills, Calif., where he was promoting Dragonball: Evolution. "And I said, 'Heck yes. In fact, whatever you want to do, whether it's Spike or not, wherever I am in the world, just call me. I'll come running. But you have seven years, Joss, because I don't want to do Spike aging. Let's keep him the same age, and I think that I can hold that look for about seven years before it starts to become too different.'

Maybe there's a few more years, but at this point, really it would all have to do with a camera test. Can we light my face in such a way that it's still in the same ballpark as what the audience is used to? If that's possible, then I think that it would be a good thing to do."

Angel wrapped in 2004, and time is running out. "Oh, he's got one more year," Marsters said. "Come on, Joss. I wrote it for him. I gave him the story."

Marsters' plan for Spike is to finally step up and get what he wants. "I would like to see Spike proactively accomplish something for himself, not be a guinea pig or along for the ride, but to actually decide that he needs something and go get it for himself," Marsters said. "That would be nice."

Unfortunately, as it always goes with Buffy, the Spike series would be a tough sell to the networks. "I think that Buffy has always been swimming upstream," Marsters said. "It's always been fighting uphill. It's no different now. You would have to really get behind it and sell it, even if Sarah [Michelle Gellar] were the lead. But asking the powers that be to put their money behind a secondary character of that show, there's just resistance. I think if Sarah wants to come back, I'll jump on behind her again, but I think that's the way there would probably be something else."
