The Grinch
Every Who Down in Whoville Liked Christmas a lot...
But the Grinch,Who lived just north of Whoville, Did NOT!
The Grinch hated Christmas! The whole Christmas season!
Now, please don't ask why. No one quite knows the reason.
It could be his head wasn't screwed on just right.
It could be, perhaps, that his shoes were too tight.
But I think that the most likely reason of all,
May have been that his heart was two sizes too small.
Whatever the reason, His heart or his shoes,
He stood there on Christmas Eve, hating the Whos,
Staring down from his cave with a sour, Grinchy frown,
At the warm lighted windows below in their town.

Bettie Page in critical condition
One of the most iconic women in the 20th century has suffered a heart attack after recovery from pneumonia. She is possibly in a coma, which has not been confirmed or denied. I just adore her and everything she went thru and stood up against. I wish you a speedy recovery Bettie we aren't ready to lose you yet.

Eureka! New items!
I'm getting a little obsessed over making these, but there are so many possibilities. The images are encased between two layers of glass and are adhered by a decorative adhesive on the sides. The adhesive comes in three colors but I seem to be drawn to using the silver or black most of the time. I haven't added any bails to these yet but wanted to share.

So sorry
I have been absent too long! Life got busy all of a sudden. I got a promotion at work, went on vacation and am moving next week. Whew.
After I get moved and unpacked I hope to have lots of new things to show you and give some updates on the kitties.

Sidney's Littermate
My friend sent me this from Craigslist
Ferocious Attack Kitten
Date: 2008-06-02, 7:10PM CDT
Ferocious attack kitten is available for adoption to any home willing to accept him. This destructive kitty has been trained as a proud warrior and will fiercely defend your house, even against you. Well-trained since 10-weeks of age to attack anything in his presence, he will protect your family from evil things, including the following:
* insects
* other trained attack kittens
* babies
* toilet paper
* anything under a blanket
* unwanted house guests
* paper bags
* floor rugs
* Chuck Norris
* Feet.
Great with children (assuming you don’t like the children). Probably best used for professional catfighting. He is housebroken, but only because he wants to be. This attack cat has trained himself to seek out his food anywhere you hide it and rip the bag open to feed himself, great for those who travel extensively. Also trained to drink water out of toilet bowls and dishwater from items in the sink. Knows how to open some doors. He will find you wherever you hide.
Neutered (trust me, you wont want to him to procreate). Has not been declawed, but you'll figure that out really fast.
Understands and responds to a variety of vulgar and profane verbal commands. Has a very soft and furry belly, like a teddy bear - however he will bite your face if you try to touch it.
Willing to accept trades. Potential adopters must have experience with trained attack-kittens... please be prepared to show scars.
For the love of God, someone please take this thing out of my house.

The mostest pretty butterfly
Coolest.butterfly.ever
Seriously I was so happy I found this embellishment I just love this butterfly. The pendant base is a little different, it is blue clay that has been mooshed with green inks here and there so it's a pretty blend of both. I hope you can see in the picture.

It's been such a short time
Only two months since I lost Atticus, but it does seem forever. I wanted to post some old pics that make me smile (and cry a little, and sometimes a lot).
The very last picture I took of him below. If I had only known I would have taken a bajillion more. It's funny Atticus used to love to nurse in my hair, now Sidney has the habit of trying to eat my hair while I'm sleeping. In that sleepy state I will reach up and think it's Atty.
I miss you baby.

Simplicity
Sometimes the simple, clean designs are my favorite. This is a copper piece with a beautiful border embellishment. It just turned out so lovely and I always like the elongated pieces as they help lengthen the neck and look great with low cut tops.

Summertime
I just smile when I look at this one. The gold inks really blended into a nice amber golden glow, which were my inspiration for adding this little summer scene.

Wildlife Series Continued
I find I don't use red clay alot because it stains fingers and everything else so easily before it is cured, but I do love how it turns out.

The Tinman
My Wizard of Oz pendants seem to be well liked so I wanted to share this one (haven't listed him yet). I haven't used a stripey border in quite awhile but I really think it just makes the image so terribly cute. It's just a simple chocolate and white stripe, but I think it adds a nice punch to a simple image.

Wildlife Series
My first in the new series, a hippo!
I put him on a turquoise base and added bits of silver clay to give it a subtle sparkle.
